Waumbek Methna Snowmobile Club
snowmobiling in the white mountains, nh

Welcome to Wambek Methna Snowmobile Club - Jefferson, N.H.

Our club was founded in 1979 and has grown from the half-dozen families that made up the core group back then to the 250 families that belong today. Many changes have occurred over the last 35 years, not only with the sport of snowmobiling, but within the club. Grooming equipment has evolved from a converted sidewalk plow to the machines you see on the trails today. Meeting locations have moved from private homes to restaurants and meeting halls, to the present clubhouse. But throughout the purpose of the club has never changed, which is to promote the sport of snowmobiling and make it a safe and enjoyable sport for the entire family.

Waumbek Methna Snowmobile Club (WMSC)

P.O. Box 115 Jefferson, NH 03583

April 3, 2021

Dear Member & Friends of WMSC,

It’s that time of year again when we wrap up another season.

The officers of the Waumbek Methna Snowmobile Club would like to thank landowners, local businesses and you, our dedicated members, for your continued support. Your donations of time and money help to keep our club moving forward.

This year with Covid-19 everyone seemed to enjoy the sport of snowmobiling even more.

The club officers are finishing up end of year business which includes electing new officers. As always we would like to find members interested in serving as a club officer. Please reach out to us by E-mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or on our Facebook page for more information or by contacting one of the club officers directly.

Our next meeting is April 11th and it will be a virtual meeting. If you are interested in joining this meeting contact Lisa Riendeau at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for details. Hopefully we will be able to meet in person for the 2021/2022 season.

The club participated in the NHSA SUPER RAFFLE…. What a success this was for us!! ($1154.90) Thank you so much to everyone who purchased a ticket or two. Hopefully, NHSA will hold a Super Raffle again next year.

I’m sure most of you have enjoyed the “Warming Hut” located at junction 600 at the intersection of corridors 12A & 116 behind Lowes Gas station. Unfortunately, the donation box was vandalized and the monies used for firewood was stolen. This crime was reported to the New Hampshire Fish & Game and is currently under investigation.

This affects us all.…….. So Sad. However we have had several members come forward with donations to help cover monies lost in the incident.

In closing, we again want to THANK YOU SO MUCH for your continued support and participation in the club. As you go about your summer activities please remember to support our local businesses and to thank local landowners for allowing us the use of their property. WITHOUT THEM WE GO NOWHERE!

Hope everyone has a great summer!

P.S. Look for the membership renewal letter sometime in October, however ON-LINE renewals via- NHSA website seems to be working very well.
